When positioning a new hot tubs in Scotland customers are normally advised against having there hot tub under or set into decking as domestic spas are designed for above ground and in most cases have access panels on all sides of the spa as in the event of a leak or component failure access may be required at various parts of the hot tub.

Normally the access required to each side of the spa should be around 600mm to allow an engineer to physically fit into the space and work on Scotland’s Hot Tubs and with our Hot Tub Engineers in Scotland not getting any smaller we would appreciate if you build your hot tub into decking please leave plenty access or we may not be able to repair your Hot tub in Scotland.
